Life Events Venue Agreement 2026

This agreement is made effective as of  (Contract Date)  , by and between Life Events Venue a Wade Marketing and Consulting Services, LLC (herein referred to as Venue) and   (Client Name)  (Client Phone Number) (Client Mailing Address) , 

The Clients represent that they desire to hold a special event on  (Project Date). With the arrival time at  (Project Start Time)   on the date of (Project Date) , and a check-out time of  (Project End Time)   on the date of  (Project End Date). 

 

1. Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable retainer of $250 (venue only) or $500 (venue + decor) is required to reserve your date.

  • All specials must be paid in full at booking.

  • A $200 cleaning & service fee and a $250 refundable security deposit are required for all rentals. **The refundable deposit will be charged as a separate fee, due one week prior to the event.**

  • Final balance is due 30 days before the event or per the payment plan (see invoice).

  • Late Fees: 10% if payment is over 3 days late. If unpaid 30 days before the event, a $150 late fee applies, and the full balance is due within 24 hours.

  • Payment schedule changes must be requested in writing before the due date.

  • Invoice Change Fees: 1st change free; $50 for 2nd, $75 for 3rd, $100 per additional change.

  • Acceptance by Performance: Payment of any portion of the fees specified herein shall constitute full acceptance of the terms and conditions of this Agreement, notwithstanding the absence of a signed copy.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • All payments are non-refundable. No credits or transfers.

  • To reschedule event: Balance must be paid in full by original due date. If balance unpaid at time of cancellation/reschedule all, payments are forfeited.

  • Rescheduling is based on availability and may require price adjustments.

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing and confirmed by the venue.

3. Decor & Delivery

  • Specialty decor (draping, flooring, themed/custom items) requires additional delivery/setup cost

  •  

4. Rules & Cleanup

  • Parking: Use designated areas; loading/unloading at the rear.

  • No open flames. Only flameless candles are allowed.

  • Event end times: 1 AM (Fri/Sat); 11 PM (Sun–Thurs).

  • No tape, nails, or screws on walls.

  • Decor and trash must be removed by the end time. Trash bins are near the strip mall gas station.

  • Chairs must be stacked neatly against the wall, or part of the security deposit may be withheld.

5. Liquor, Smoking, & Children

  • Liquor may be served until 10 PM (per City of Lawrenceville ordinance).

  • No smoking indoors; smoking only in designated outdoor areas.

  • Children under 16 must be supervised at all times.

6. Liability

  • The Venue is not liable for injury, loss, or damage.

  • The client assumes all risks and is responsible for any harm or damages caused during the event.

7. Disputes & Agreement Terms

  • Disputes will be resolved via mediation/arbitration in Lawrenceville, GA.

  • Month-to-month rentals require a 45-day written notice for cancellation.

  • This agreement is binding upon signing. All notices must be in writing.

8. Photo & Video Release

The Client grants the Venue permission to photograph and/or record video during the event for promotional use (e.g., social media, website, brochures). The Venue will not share private or defamatory content.

Clients may opt out by submitting a written request before the event.

9. DJ Equipment & Sound Levels

All DJ equipment and speakers must be placed on the exterior wall to minimize disturbance to neighboring businesses. Music and bass levels must be monitored and kept at a respectful volume before 8 PM. The Venue reserves the right to request volume adjustments at any time. Failure to comply may result in loss of the security deposit or early event shutdown.


By signing, I agree to the terms above and understand that failure to comply may result in immediate termination.
